FPUA WTP Degasifier and Clearwell Improvements

SOW – SUMMARY OF PROJECT

 

The project involves replacing key components of two degasifiers and making structural and coating repairs in the clearwell. Work includes:

  • Replacing four 16-inch butterfly valves (two with electronic limit switches) and six flexible couplings with 316 stainless steel components.
  • Removing and replacing damaged vertical DMP pipe sections and associated link-seals.
  • Replacing stainless steel baffle anchors with FRP epoxy anchors.
  • Repairing up to 500 sq. ft. of interior clearwell coating and recoating the unused pump penetration and pump can sleeve.
  • All hardware will be stainless steel with EPDM gaskets.

 

Engineering services include design drawings, coordination with FPUA, site inspections, and record drawings.
Construction services cover equipment installation, coating repair, schedule management, and site cleanup.

      • Repair of up to 500 sq. ft. of coating inside the clearwell, and preparation and recoating of the unused pump penetration through the top slab.
