As the General Contractor, Globaltech furnished and installed a new 250 horsepower vertical turbine pump, a variable frequency drive that controls the pump speed, 12” diameter effluent DI piping, electrical conduits, and electrical conduit supports at the city’s wastewater treatment plant effluent pump station.
Key project highlights include installation of a 250-horsepower vertical turbine effluent pump and VFD, demolish existing MCC pump P-3 cubicle and installation of a new 400A circuit breaker/cubicle in MCC room, and a new NEMA 4X SS disconnect switch at pump, and modifications to the effluent pump 12” ductile iron piping.

- Replaced an existing 100-horsepower vertical turbine pump that was previously removed by the city and replaced and upgraded with a 250-horsepower vertical turbine pump. This upgrade increased city’s effluent pumping capacity ensures long-term operational efficiency and regulatory compliance.
- The project secured the required permits and met City of Cooper City’s standards, ensuring compliance. It was completed on schedule with smooth coordination between the Owner, Engineer, permitting, and construction team.
