Globaltech provided engineering and construction services for the rehabilitation of four stripping towers. The stripping towers were restored to their original condition, improving water treatment efficiency. As water passes through the air-stripping towers, oxidized minerals and biological growth accumulate on the media, fouling it over time and reducing performance and capacity while increasing pressure within the towers. The rehabilitation work addressed these issues and optimized system performance.

- Improved the water treatment process while maintaining continuous operation throughout construction. All required submittals were completed and approved on time.
- Applied the $50,000 allowance to address additional requirements outside the original contract scope.
- The fiberglass (FRP) stripping towers were installed in approximately 1989 and had not been rehabilitated since. FPUA no longer had the original drawings, so we contacted the original vendor (Industrial Plastic Systems) and obtained them. This allowed us to confirm the media requirements for each tower before purchasing materials.
