Driven By Design. Born To Build.Â
Globaltech began in 1993 when our founder, Paul Gandy, set out to provide high-quality engineering services to public and private utility clients across Florida and the Caribbean. What started as a one-person consultancy quickly grew into a trusted partner for complex infrastructure projects.
By 1995, Globaltech became an incorporated firm — and soon after evolved into a fully integrated Design-Build company. Our clients needed smarter, faster solutions for time-critical projects, and we answered by bringing engineering, construction, and electrical services all under one roof.
Now celebrating over 30 years of success, Globaltech holds all required contractor and electrical licenses, giving us the ability to self-perform!(

Our Leadership
Paul Gandy, P.E.
President and CEO
With more than 30 years of experience in the consulting engineering business, Paul pioneered the design build effort in South Florida’s utility market. Paul’s areas of expertise include planning, design, and construction of all facets of water and wastewater treatment as well as collection and distribution, hydraulics, fluids handling, and pumping. He is a University of Florida graduate with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering. Paul is a certified Professional Engineer, Plumbing Contractor, Mechanical Contractor, General Contractor, and an Underground Utility and Excavation Contractor.
Bruce Rahmani, P.E.
Vice President of Construction
As our VP of Construction, Bruce supervises Globaltech’s construction division while coordinating with design engineers and clients to successfully execute the construction of design build projects. Bruce applies his experience in construction estimating, procurement, and project management to his daily work. He holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Florida Atlantic University and is a certified General Contractor and Plumbing Contractor.
David Schuman, P.E.
Vice President of Project Delivery
Dave has more than 28 years of experience designing water and wastewater facilities. His areas of expertise are treatment/process technologies, pump stations, pipelines, hydraulics, and mechanical design. Dave has a M.S. in Environmental Engineering from Virginia Tech University and a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Florida International University. He is a member of the Water Environment Federation (WEF), the American Water Works Association (AWWA), the American Public Works Association (APWA), and the Southeast Florida Utility Council.
Rick Olson, P.E.
Vice President of Engineering
Rick has an extensive background in Civil and Geotechnical Engineering and has worked with municipal utilities in south Florida for more than 35 years. He graduated from the University of Florida with a B.S. in Civil Engineering, and a M.C.E. in Civil/Geotechnical Engineering. Rick has managed all phases of the project life cycle. His areas of expertise include project management, water resources planning, stormwater management, geotechnical engineering, civil construction, utility capital project planning and neighborhood outreach. As VP of Engineering, Rick provides leadership for design/build projects and our engineering staff.
Natalia Gomez, PHR
Vice President of Human Resources
Natalia is an experienced HR Leader with over 14 years of experience creating and guiding human resources strategies to drive organizational success. Natalia, a graduate of Florida Atlantic University with a B.S. in Biological Sciences and a Master’s in Business Administration, is a certified Professional in Human Resources (PHR). She brings a wealth of knowledge in creating and aligning HR practices with business objectives and leading transformative initiatives. Natalia's extensive experience equips her to handle complex HR issues with unwavering confidence and competence, instilling a sense of trust in her abilities. She is a member of the Society for Human Resources Management and the Society for Human Resources Management -Palm Beach County Chapter.
