During this 12-week rotational internship the intern will work with a multi-discipline group of engineers and construction managers. The intern will experience a hands-on approach by rotating through scheduling, estimating, construction management, and field experience.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist scheduler, estimator, and construction managers as needed
- Assist with submittals, permitting, subcontracts, and purchase orders
- Coordinate with vendors
- Visit field to monitor progress of construction activities
- Get familiar with federal, state and local regulations
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements
- In the process of receiving a Bachelors or Master’s degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering or Civil Engineering (Junior and Senior years preferred)
- Possess a valid Florida Driver License and able to pass a motor vehicle record search
- Ability to pass a pre-hire drug test
- Legally authorized to work in the US without employer sponsorship
