We are happy to announce the completion of another lift station improvements project in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. Seacoast Utility Authority (SUA) has recently been undergoing phases of rehabilitation at all their lift station sites. Recently, lift stations 73 and 143 were the latest sites to receive multiple upgrades. Under a continuing design build contract, Globaltech designed and constructed the series of miscellaneous improvements.

New Odor Scrubber System & Corrosive Repairs

Both lift station sites received new pump base elbows, stainless-steel base plates, and stainless-steel riser pipes. The existing wetwell coatings were removed and all corrosive damages were repaired. New SewperCoat interior surface coating was applied to each wetwell.

A new Evoqua odor scrubber system was installed at list station 143 to better control odors in the immediate vicinity of the station. The onsite odor mitigation equipment included water supply and drain piping to discharge near the bottom of the wetwell with supported schedule 80 PVC drain piping. Additionally, all new stainless-steel vents were installed for improved odor control air intake.
