The City of Boynton Beach contracted Globaltech to provide operational upgrades to post-treatment chemical pumping equipment at PBCWUD’s Water Treatment Plant (WTP) No. 11 in Belle Glade, Florida. The existing equipment had reached the end of its usable lifespan.
The improvements included:

Replacement of the sodium hydroxide, corrosion inhibitor, and antiscalant dosing systems

Installation of a new double-wall HDPE tank

Stainless steel fabricated membrane process building inlet filters

Enhancements to the degasifier tower cleaning system

A new Deep Injection Well (DIW) compressor and FRP building

A new antiscalant transfer station
Electrical upgrades consisted of modifications to existing RIO panels and SCADA logic.
These design enhancements improve safety and operational compliance, with all modifications meeting current regulations, codes, and permitting requirements.
