SUA LS 11, 42 & 92 Site Improvements

SOW – SUMMARY OF PROJECT

The LS 11, 42 & 92 Site Improvements project involved upgrading critical infrastructure at three lift station sites. As the Engineer of Record (EOR), we handled engineering design, permitting, and construction services. Key tasks included temporary bypass pumping systems, abrasive blasting of wetwells, and recoating with a corrosion barrier system. We replaced the old ductile iron components with   316SS components.  We also managed project coordination, site visits, and the creation of permit and

record drawings, including coordination with the Palm Beach Gardens Building Department for LS 92.

Project Achievements / Benefits
  • Key highlights include the installation of bypass pumping systems with backup pumps, the application of corrosion-resistant coatings in the wetwells, and the installation of a new PVC-coated chain link fence at LS 92.

  • The project was completed on schedule, meeting all regulatory requirements. We successfully designed and installed temporary bypass pumping systems, corrosion barriers, and stainless steel components at each site.

  • The upgrades improve the operational reliability of the lift stations, reduce maintenance costs, and extend the life of the infrastructure. The bypass systems ensure continuous operation, and the corrosion barriers protect the wetwells, minimizing future repairs.
